The Dark Gentleman (闇の紳士 Yami-no-shinshi) is an enigmatic character in Clock Tower 3. He is dressed in dark clothes and has an unusually deep voice. He seems to know a lot about Alyssa Hamilton, and carries a strong love for her. Alyssa does not know who he is, but thinks that he may be one of her mother's lodgers.
Alyssa eventually discovers his real identity: Dick Hamilton, or Darcy Burroughs possessing Dick, although Alyssa only discovers this after Darcy merges with Dick. It is possible the Dark Gentleman is Darcy as an Entity, as Dick has facial hair while the Dark Gentleman does not (though on the other hand, Darcy had facial hair as well), and they inexplicably have different voices.
