The lighter is a required item in Chapter 1 and Chapter 3.
Chapter 1[]
The lighter is required to burn the Golden Statue. After Bates stabs Stephanie and retrieves the Amulet, the player is required to use the lighter to completely burn the Golden Statue, finishing Chapter 1 and proceeding to Chapter 2.
The lighter can be found at:
