Lady Annabel Burroughs is a minor character in Clock Tower 3, mentioned in the documents Book of Entities 4 and Dick's Notes 5. She was an ancestor of Alyssa Hamilton, who lived in the early seventeenth century.
Annabel was the daughter of Darcy and Natalya Burroughs and the half-sister of William Burroughs. Her father had a great love for her, even extending to him plotting to use her to perform the Ritual of Engagement and bequeathing all his lands to her upon his death.
However, on the day before her fifteenth birthday, she was killed when her carriage rolled onto its side. Heartbroken, her father massacred much of his staff, the villagers who lived on his land, and even his own wife, in anger.
The name Annabel means "lovable" in Latin, and "grace" in Hebrew. The Latin meaning could refer to how her father's obsessive affection over her. The Hebrew meaning could be an allusion to Nancy Hamilton, as their names share the same meaning.
